GROWLER CASES

Having a growler roll around in your car as you drive to and from the pub is just a mean thing to do. The growler isn't happy, the beer isn't happy. So, make a growler case, it will make you happy. Here's a few I made:

The one in the front in the picture below is the one I use. Although it looks bulky with that middle handle, it makes it a bit easier to tote around. The three hole case was for my buddy Matt (he obviously has three growlers). Notice the hole in the bottom and the fact that the bottom of the case is above the table... that's to flip the growler over to let it drain and dry after washing.

This one was for my buddy Clint. He fishes, and his wife drinks wine. :)

Here's mine loaded. Since they are both empty, it's time to run to the pub!

Yep, these were made with my CNC router, and it's a good project to use up scrap plywood. Want to build your own? The growler hole is 5-1/8 inches in diameter, the drain hole is 1-1/2 inches in diameter, and the distance between the top and bottom is 6 inches. The wine/whiskey/glass hole is 3.3 inches in diameter (based on the bottles I had on hand).

I liked this one so much, I kept it for myself:
